Consignment terms
By submitting items for consignment with On The Block Sports, you agree to the following terms.
Commission Structure
Consignment commission is based on the consignee’s lifetime sales total with On The Block Sports.
• 25% commission for lifetime sales below $1,000
• 20% commission for lifetime sales between $1,000 and $5,000
• 15% commission for lifetime sales above $5,000
Commission is calculated based on the final sale price of each item sold.
Shipping to On The Block Sports
The consignee is responsible for all shipping costs and insurance when sending items to On The Block Sports.
All packages should be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
On The Block Sports recommends purchasing insurance through the shipping carrier when sending high value items.
Package Documentation
All inbound consignment packages will be video recorded during the opening process to document the condition and contents of the shipment.
This recording will serve as the official record of what was received.
Transit Damage
On The Block Sports is not responsible for items that are damaged during shipping to our facility.
Any damage that occurs during transit should be addressed by the consignee with the shipping carrier used to send the package.
Item Verification
Upon receipt, items will be reviewed to confirm that they match the submitted inventory.
If items received differ from what was expected, On The Block Sports reserves the right to decline or return those items at the consignee’s expense.
Pricing & Sales
On The Block Sports will determine the sales format, pricing strategy, and marketplace used to sell the consigned items. This may include livestream breaks, auctions, fixed price listings, or other sales channels.
Weekly Sales Reports
Consignees will receive a weekly sales report every Sunday detailing items sold, sale prices, and commission deductions.
Payment Schedule
Payments for sold items will be issued every Sunday alongside the weekly sales report.
Payment will reflect the net proceeds after commission and any applicable fees.
Unsold Items
Unsold items may be returned to the consignee upon request. The consignee is responsible for any return shipping costs.
Ownership of Items
The consignee retains ownership of all consigned items until the item is sold.
Once an item is sold, the transaction is final and cannot be reversed.
Refusal of Items
On The Block Sports reserves the right to refuse any items submitted for consignment for any reason, including authenticity concerns, condition issues, or marketability.
Liability Limitations
While On The Block Sports will take reasonable care in handling consigned items, we are not responsible for manufacturer defects, grading discrepancies, or market value fluctuations.
Fraudulent or Misrepresented Items
Any items found to be counterfeit, altered, or misrepresented may be returned to the consignee at their expense and may result in termination of the consignment relationship.
